Ben Cole, Political Philosophy Senior Staff Writer
Ben Cole is a junior in the Columbian School majoring in political science and classical studies. He attended Lakeland High School in Westchester, NY where he participated in policy debate. After graduating, Ben plans on going to law school. In his spare time, Ben enjoys listening to music, playing the keys, and enjoying the great outdoors.
Adam Farrar, International Affairs Senior Staff Writer
Adam Farrar is a junior in the Elliott School of International Affairs, majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in Conflict and Security with a minor in Geography. He is a staff writer for the International Affairs section. Adam has studied abroad in Paris, France and Leysin, Switzerland. Additionally he is an active member of the International Affairs Society (IAS) and has worked for Senator Clinton.
Elliot Gillerman, International Affairs Senior Staff Writer
Elliot Gillerman is a senior in the Elliott School of International Affairs, majoring in International Affairs and concentrating in International Politics and Middle Eastern Studies. In addition to his involvement with GW Discourse, Elliot is actively involved in a number of organizations on campus. He is a founding member of Delta Phi Epsilon, Professional Foreign Service Fraternity, as well as an Elliott School peer advisor and a member of the 2006 Colonial Cabinet. Additionally, Elliot has previously interned in the foreign policy office of Senator Edward Kennedy and currently works for the U.S. Department of State.
Robert O’Brien, International Affairs Senior Staff Writer
Robert O’Brien is a senior in the Elliott School of International Affairs, concentrating his studies in International Politics as well as Chinese Language and Literature. Hailing from Merrimack, New Hampshire, he is the lucky beneficiary of two loving parents and two phenomenal younger siblings.
Sophie Stern, International Affairs Senior Staff Writer
Sophie Stern is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. A member of the Class of 2009, she is a student in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Political Science and minoring in Psychology. Her interest in International Affairs has stemmed from her travel abroad and her coursework at GWU. While currently interning for a political consulting firm, after graduation she will pursue a career in International Mediation.
